State of the dental implants
From Internal Hex implants to Conical Hex implants, also NanoTech Implant surface or Multifunction-Implant package, so that each physician can find the precise and most convenient implant to work within any given moment.The DTD Design is driven by simplicity. A cornerstone of its simplicity is short Implants. When the DTD system was first introduced in 1993, its 7.0mm length implants were considered quite short—most other implants were at least 13-15mm and sometimes 20-22mm long. Since then, the natural progression of DTD’s design philosophy has resulted in 6.0mm and 7.0mm DTD Implants all with proven clinical success.

Internal hex implant solutions

Our Internal V3 connection implant system is designed and developed with simplicity, quality, and ease-of-use in mind.

The DTD implants are cylindrical screw type implants based on a root shape core and a straight self tapping thread. The special thread shape results in a combination of forces providing a mechanical fixation and load distribution. This will contribute to primary stability of the implant,they have a cylindrical morphology, asymmetric thread for a correct distribution of the masticatory loads and tapered apex with three apical notches that offer a decompression and release area for blood clots.

Conical nono Implants
The new conical standard line of implants is a powerful addition to nono Connection platform, which enables esthetic restoration with an advanced implantabutment connection. The conical standard connection results in less micro-movements, higher biological sealing and better resistant to repetitive mastication forces.

V8 Implant Surface
V8 implant surface is achieved by a complex process of large particle sandblasting and acid etching. This unique process creates a high surface area differentiation, pointing to a high increase in the three dimensional (3D) surface area, thus enabling a more intense absorption of blood and plasma proteins directly into the implants micropores immediately after the implant is placed. The Premium DTD implants are dental fixtures with a transgingival conformation that complete the program of submerged implants, thus allowing to choose the most suitable fixture for any clinical situation.

Bicon DTD-V2
The Prama implant system has been developed in collaboration with dr. Ignazio Loi, transferring the concepts of DTD technique  from the prosthesis on natural teeth to the prosthesis on implants. The DTD instrument cassette has a small size with length 20,5cm, width 17cm and height of 6,5cm which makes it extremly storage-effective. DTD has an excellent high heat resistance and excellent hydrolytic stability what makes it an excellent choice for medical devices requiring repeated steam sterilisation

The DTD implant is based on root form core with self tapping thread up to the bone level area of the implant. The rough subtractive DTD surface creates an optimal micro morphological formation favoring fast bone apposition, whereas, smooth transmucosal part allows using one stage protocol. Because of the sharp self cutting lower edge of the implant the positioning in height during insertion is easier to manipulate. Pre tapping is necessary when, especially in the cortical bone, there exists the risk of overheating or creating too much stress in the surrounding bone. The lower part of the treads are designed more horizontally. Because of this design the axial forces are transferred more vertically to the alveolar bone. The use of several implant diameters and all-fit-all abutments gives an ideal combination of simplicity and reliability. Current concept of DTD implant is based on solid, straight screw cylinder with a 2m polished collar (2.8mm) extending through the soft tissue. The basic design of the DTD Implant corresponds to that of the DTD implant.
